Who Should Perform at the 2020 MTV VMAs? Vote!

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Monday (June 29) that the 2020 MTV VMAs will be held in Brooklyn’s nearly empty Barclays Center on Aug. 30. Which act would you love to see take the stage?

Chloe x Halle know how to think outside of their backyard the sisters have been using for their recent at-home performances, so the Barclays Center is their oyster to bring Ungodly Hour to life. Maybe their Parkwood boss Beyoncé can find her way back to the stage for the first-ever performance of “Savage” alongside Megan Thee Stallion.

With 2020 bringing back powerhouse all-female duets at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande could give VMAs viewers a special glimpse of Chromatica with a live “Rain On Me” forecast.

But K-pop stans stormed YouTube on Friday (June 26) when Blackpink dropped a stunning high-fashion visual for the girl group’s comeback single “How You Like That.” According to Variety, the “How You Like That” video broke the YouTube record for biggest-ever premiere “with 1.66 million peak concurrent viewers” and clocked in 86.3 million views in the first 24 hours. Maybe Blackpink could be in the Tri-state area to bring that runway magic to life.

So who would you love to see perform at the 2020 MTV VMAs this summer? Vote below!
