Bassnectar & Louis the Child Debut on Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart

Bassnectar bows at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated July 11) with All Colors. The set starts with 5,000 equivalent album units earned, including 3,000 from album sales, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Bassnectar (real name: Lorin Ashton) adds his 13th top 10, the fourth-most among all acts dating to the chart’s June 2001 inception; only Tiesto (18), Louie DeVito (15) and Armin van Buuren (14) have more. Included among the DJ/producer’s 13 top 10s are three No. 1s: Noise vs. Beauty (2014), Into the Sun (2015) and Unlimited (2016).

All Colors follows Bassnectar’s four-part Reflective series, with EP Reflective (Part 1) the highest-charting (No. 5, 2017).

Additionally on Top Dance/Electronic Albums, Louis the Child charges in at No. 6 with Here for Now, earning close to 5,000 units. The act achieves its best weekly unit total and highest chart position. Previously, EP Love Is Alive reached No. 17 in 2017 and Kids at Play hit No. 8 in 2018.

On Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Louis the Child, teaming with EARTHGANG, earns the chart’s leading debut with “Big Love,” at No. 18. Taking almost all its chart points from streaming, the track tallied 1.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending July 2.

Shifting to Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Kygo and Sasha Sloan sail 11-6 with “I’ll Wait,” marking the DJ/producer’s sixth top 10 and the singer’s first.
