Which Billboard & THR Pride Summit & Prom Performance Was Your Favorite? Vote!

While the global coronavirus pandemic may have led to the cancellation of senior proms and pride parades around the country, it didn’t stop Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter from throwing a virtual Pride Summit and Prom of our own on Saturday (June 13).

The Summit featured panels that discussed police brutality and Black Lives Matter, with appearances by . Afterward, Shea Diamond hosted Prom, while Tracy Youngbut DJ’d. The event included celebratory performances by LGBTQ stars and allies including Noah Cyrus, Tove Lo,  Pabllo Vittar and more.

Tituss Burgess gave attendees at home a few performances to groove to. He kicked off prom with “Dance M.F.,” which featured dancers twerking as the star sang, “Live your best life/ This is your day/ Go out tonight/ Dance it away.”

Drag star Vittar skipped the traditional glam prom wear and went a little more casual with her performance — as one does while in quarantine. The Brazilian sang her hit “Tímida” while dressed in a Calvin Klein sweater and denim shorts, kicking off her performance from bed before strutting around her room.

For those eager for the slow-dance song (and not the staple “Lady in Red” …) Cyrus offered up an emotional and stripped down take of “July.”  Like Vittar, she went casual, but took it one step further by performing in her pajamas.

Which of the prom performances was your favorite? Watch all of them here, then vote in our poll below!

Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter’s second annual Pride Prom and Summit supports The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people.
