The Killers Unleash Epic New Song ‘My Own Soul’s Warning’: Stream It Now

The Killers are, well, killing it with another new release.

“My Own Soul’s Warning” arrived at midnight and is slated to appear on Imploding the Mirage, the Las Vegas rockers’ upcoming sixth studio album, due out later this year.

“Warning” has a dramatic flair that places it somewhere between Arcade Fire, Bruce Springsteen and “Joshua Tree”-era U2.

On it, Brandon Flowers sings: “I tried going against my own soul’s warning/ But in the end, something just didn’t feel right/ Oh I tried diving, even though the sky was storming Thunderheads were forming/ But man I thought I could fly And when I hit the ground.”

Mirage is the follow-up 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful, which topped the Billboard 200 and featured the single, “The Man,” which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart.

Lead single “Caution” dropped in March.
