Selena Gomez Is Loving Her BFF Taylor Swift’s New Album

Less than 24 hours after Taylor Swift announced her eighth studio album, folklore arrived in all its woodsy glory on Friday (July 24).

Among the Swifties listening to the 16-track album today is, naturally, Swift’s pal Selena Gomez. The “Rare” star took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of the second song on the album, “cardigan.”

“She’s done it again @taylorswift,” she wrote with a pink bow emoji.

“In isolation my imagination has run wild and this album is the result, a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness,” Swift wrote in a primer about her new album. “Picking up a pen was my way of escaping into fantasy, history, and memory. I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve.”
