Selena Gomez Chills on ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Set With Sting and Steve Martin

Selena Gomez has been in thousands of pics with other famous folks, but her latest A-list snap is one for the scrapbook.

In a shot taken by her TV boss Steve Martin, Selena is sandwiched between the legendary banjo-loving comedian and lute lover Sting on the set of the upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.

The 10-episode comedy series, co-created by Martin and John Hoffman, also stars Martin’s longtime pal and on-stage foil Martin Short — who is also in the pic — and Aaron Dominguez. The show follows three true crime-loving strangers (Martin, Gomez and Short) who get caught up in their own criminal affair.

It will be Gomez’s first recurring TV role since her run on the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place; Gomez is also one of the show’s executive producers.

Martin posted a snap from the set on Thursday (Jan. 28), in which the quartet smile at the camera with their masks off, which Martin explained in the caption. “A special day on the set of Only Murders in the Building. (Our masks are down because we’re 30 seconds before shooting.) For detailists, Sting is hold the Financial Times cryptic crossword which he zinged through to embarrass us all.”

Gomez is been super busy lately, announcing her upcoming first-ever Spanish-language EP, Revelación (Revelation)I, which is due out on March 12. The album will follow Gomez’s singles “De Una Vez,” which arrived Jan. 16, and the Rauw Alejandro-assisted “Baila Conmigo,” which dropped on Friday (Jan. 29.)
