Grammy-winning rapper and actor Ludacris felt like “a kid in a candy store” when he made his appearance on The Price Is Right at Night, airing Wednesday night (Jan. 27).
In a sneak peek of the appearance exclusive to Billboard, Ludacris tells host Drew Carey how much TV game show means to his family.
“My grandmother, my mother watched this show when I was an infant. This is like a dream come true. This is like a kid in a candy store for me,” he said. “And this is bringing all of the family together. It’s a beautiful thing, man. I feel like a kid, straight up.”
Ludacris will be playing for charity to support his nonprofit organization The Ludacris Foundation, which serves youth and their families. He’ll also help contestants play for major prizes, such as NFL season tickets and sports cars. CBS announced Ludacris and actor Adam Devine would appear on two of the three The Price Is Right primetime specials airing this month.
