Remember Mariah Carey’s Bottle Cap Challenge? Here’s the Blooper You Didn’t See

Mariah Carey’s whistle tones can blow the roof off any venue and the cap off any bottle per her 2019 Bottle Cap Challenge clip. But on the one-year anniversary of the video today (July 7), the 50-year-old megastar shared some behind-the-scenes bloopers that, well, blew off more than expected.

“Last year I tried to crush the bottle cap challenge, but the bottle almost crushed me. Here’s the take you didn’t see…” she captioned the new video on Instagram. In the 10-second clip, Carey’s glass bottle goes flying off the table and rolls across the floor, which startled one of her kids who yelled, “Mom!”

Stars from supermodel Naomi Campbell to filmmaker Lee Daniels couldn’t get enough of the hilarious miscalculation as evident by their emojis in the comment section.
