Pearl Jam Drops New Song ‘Get It Back’ on Streaming Services

If you missed out on getting the new Pearl Jam song “Get It Back” on Oct. 2, you’re in luck: The band has just released the tune on all streaming services.

“Get It Back” was previously available only on Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy, Volume 2, which dropped earlier in the month, and was available for only one day. The compilation featured not only Pearl Jam’s new song, but also music by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Feist, The Postal Service, My Morning Jacket, and others.

The collection of music was released to benefit the Voting Rights Lab, a nonpartisan organization that works to protect and defend all Americans’ voting rights.

Pearl Jam has been active this election season. The Seattle rockers launched the “PJ Votes 2020″ initiative to help drive voter turnout for the Nov. 3 presidential election, with frontman Eddie Vedder also giving a tutorial on his own Instagram account to show fans how easy and secure it is to vote via mail-in ballots. In addition, the band has backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ campaign, joining former second lady Dr. Jill Biden and for a Zoom conversation to discuss the future of the U.S. on Oct

The band also announced on Oct. 10 that they will be streaming a set from April 2016 during which they played their iconic album Ten from start to finish. The livestream takes place Oct. 22, the 30th anniversary of their first live performance.
