Original ‘Hamilton’ Cast Reunites For ‘Helpless’ Performance at ‘Global Goal’ Concert: Watch

Members of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a performance of “Helpless” on Saturday (June 27) for the “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future” concert.

In a variation on the Tonight Show’s “Classroom Instruments” segment, each performer used toy instruments and other objects found around the house to use as noisemakers.

The OG Schuyler sisters (Phillipa Soo as Eliza, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy) commanded attention as always during the performance of the song — which details the origins of Eliza and Alexander Hamilton’s love story — but the incredible supporting cast also made the remote performance seamless.

The performance comes ahead of the Hamilton film hitting Disney+ on July 3.
