Miranda Lambert and Elle King Rocked Out to Cyndi Lauper While on ‘Drunk’ Set: Watch

Now that looks like fun! Miranda Lambert shared some behind-the-scenes revelry in a Twitter video on Sunday (Feb. 28), revealing some of the good times she and Elle King had while on set filming the video for their new song, “Drunk (and I Don’t Wanna Go Home).”

In the clip, the two country artists deliver an energetic performance of Cyndi Lauper’s 1984 hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” With both still made up in ’80s looks for their music video, King passionately tosses her pastel pink hair around as she sings fiercely into her bottle of hair product.

Lambert, meanwhile, slightly more subdued, sways from side to side as she sings into her cell phone and beverage. All the while, three of their crew members belt out the lyrics behind them, using makeup brushes and other products as makeshift mics.

“Girls just want to have fun! Glam Jam on the ‘Drunk’ music video set,” Lambert captioned the video, tagging everyone who appeared.

The “Bluebird” singer and King first teased their collab on Feb. 22, with both women sharing photos of the two together and the hashtag #DRUNK. The song and its accompanying video dropped soon after on Feb. 26.

In a behind-the-scenes video shared by Entertainment Tonight, King revealed, “This is probably the most fun music video I’ve ever done.”

“We both got to jump around and wear glitter,” added Lambert. “We needed to laugh.”

Prior to “Drunk,” King appeared on Lambert’s cover of “Fooled Around and Fell in Love,” and also joined her Roadside & Pink Guitars Tour.
