Latin Music Week 2020: Ozuna & Afo Verde Confirmed for ‘The Super Star & the Super Executive’ Q&A

Ozuna and Afo Verde are confirmed for “The Super Star and The Super Executive” Q&A at the 30th-anniversary installment of Latin Music Week, taking place virtually from October 20 to the 23rd.

The Puerto Rican top-selling artist and the Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Latin Iberia will have a “mano a mano” conversation to discuss music creation, trends, marketing, and global domination, amongst other things.

Ozuna is a 14-time finalist at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards. The “Caramelo” singer holds the record as the artist with most nods to the Billboard Latin Music Awards in a single year (23) on Feb. 12, 2019, and most Billboard Latin Music Award wins for a single artist in a single year (11) on April 25, 2019.

Other confirmed superstar Q&As include conversations between Rosalia and Pharell Williams, J Balvin and Deepak Chopra, and Carlos Vives and Gustavo Dudamel. To reserve a spot and receive updates, RSVP here.

“At a time when Latin music is ‘the new pop’ and Latin artists are recognized in many different realms, we’ve brought together a fascinating group of artists with captivating personalities representing a diverse collective of topics: Film, classical music, wellness, social justice, fashion, and the music industry, to name just a few,” said Leila Cobo, VP, Latin Industry Lead, Billboard. “Together, they will have insightful, one of a kind conversations that will highlight the Latin community in a way that’s never been done before.”

Celebrating its 30th anniversary as the longest-running and biggest Latin music industry, Latin Music Week 2020 is set to take place October 20-23. This year’s festivities will be virtual and will feature intimate artist conversations, industry panels, workshops, and performances. Confirmed talent for the three-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin Music, culture, and entertainment includes Sech, Cazzu, Lunay, Natanael Cano, Rauw Alejandro, Camilo, Jhay Cortez, and many more.

This year’s Latin Music Week was originally scheduled to take place April 20-23 in Las Vegas, NV, and was postponed due to COVID-19. Additional participants and schedules will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2020 will broadcast live on Oct. 21 via Telemundo, with awards to be given out in 59 categories honoring the top artists, songs, albums, labels, publishers, songwriters, and producers of the year.
