Lady Gaga Extends Her Record as Keith Urban Debuts on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart

Lady Gaga extends her mark for the most top 10s among female acts on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, earning her ninth as “Free Woman” rises 12-10 on the ranking dated June 27.

The track drew almost all of its activity from its 2 million U.S. streams in the week ending June 18, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Among women, Gaga’s nine top 10s dating to the chart’s January 2013 inception outpace Ellie Goulding, Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha, each with five. Overall, The Chainsmokers lead with 19 top 10s.

“Free Woman” is Gaga’s sixth Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10 from her new LP Chromatica, which rules Top Dance/Electronic Albums for a third week. The song follows “Stupid Love” (No. 1 for three weeks in March); “Rain on Me,” with Ariana Grande (No. 1, two weeks, June); “Sour Candy,” with BLACKPINK (No. 3, June); “Alice” (No. 7, June) and “911” (No. 10, June).

Additionally on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Canadian DJ Dzeko and country superstar Keith Urban’s collab “Both Still Young” begins at No. 37. Dzeko’s third entry, the song marks Urban’s first foray onto any Billboard dance chart. Concurrently, it bows at No. 13 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, selling 1,000 downloads.

Urban owns 16 Hot Country Songs No. 1s, among 39 top 10s, dating to his arrival on the chart in 1999.

On Top Dance/Electronic Albums, Chromeo corrals a No. 24 debut with Quarantine Casanova, which starts with 2,000 equivalent album units. The act charts its fifth title, following its first two No. 1s, Head Over Heels (June 2018) and White Women (May 2014).

The new set houses a split of five songs with vocals and five instrumental versions of those songs, which include such pandemic-themed titles as “6 Feet Away” and “Stay in Bed (And Do Nothing).” One track, “Clorox Wipe,” collected 268,000 domestic streams, sparking its No. 50 entrance on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.
