It was pop overload on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Wednesday (Sept. 23) when Kelly amped up the sexy for her latest Kellyoke slam dunk. Rocking an eye patch due to a run-in with some rogue dust on The Voice set, Clarkson served up a sexy cover of Harry Styles’ “Adore You.”
Slathering the already sensual song with her signature soulful runs, Clarkson and her band put some funk snap into the song from Harry’s 2019 Fine Line album after she completely rocked a cover of Lizzo’s “Good As Hell” earlier in the week. She, of course, also explained the whole eye patch situation and got Common to dish on what it was like to hang with Dave Chappelle at one of his socially distanced all-star comedy gigs in Ohio.
Common also performed the world premier of his new song “Don’t Forger Who You Are.”
