Kelly Clarkson has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Brandon Blackstock. Clarkson, 38, and music manager Blackstock, 43, were married in October 2013 and have two children together, daughter River Rose, 5, and son Remington Alexander, 3. A spokesperson for the singer could not be reached for comment at press time.
Clarkson filed for divorce in Los Angeles on June 4, according to documents obtained by The Blast.
Clarkson has posted a series of videos from the couple’s Montana ranch over the past few months as they self-quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the singer filming remote episodes of her daytime talker, The Kelly Clarkson Show, from the cabin. In addition to their two children, the couple has been raising Blackstock’s two children from a previous message as well, daughter Savannah, 18, and son Seth, 14.
Clarkson released the uplifting, multi-language single “I Dare You” last month.
