Kanye West Polls Fans on If He Should Run In 2024

Kanye West hasn’t given up on his political ambitions.

Just 24 hours after unleashing an extraordinary rant on Twitter, West tested the waters for another tilt at the White House.

He tweeted, “#2020VISION or maybe ‘24 I guess all black people supposed to vote on Biden? Y’all want me to run on nah???”

Soon after, ‘Ye updated on his new album release DONDA, which he insists will drop with video before the week is out. “DONDA: WITH CHILD new album and movie this Friday,” he tweeted.

The accompanying photo has more than than enough to keep fans guessing until then, capturing a tracklist, a Crestron fliptop device, a Bible, gaming controllers and a keyboard.

It’s been a turbulent couple days for Kanye, who took the stage for an unconventional political rally in South Carolina, at which he wore a military style jacket, with “2020” shaved into the back of his head, delivered a rambling, hour-long speech and, at one stage, burst into tears.

Kanye apparently left his presidential run too late.

South Carolina Election Commission officials confirmed that the rapper-turned-independent candidate missed the Monday (July 20) deadline after he failed to submit the petition he first tweeted out on Saturday (July 18). To qualify for the state’s ballot, the hip-hop giant needed to submit at least 10,000 signatures.

And then, on Monday night, Kanye kicked off a tweet storm, the vast majority of it now wiped from the social media platform.

As he wound-down his hours-long rant, an announcement: “DONDA coming this Friday,” a seeming reference to his previously announced upcoming album.
