Happy Birthday Marc Anthony! Vote for Your Favorite Song

Here’s to one of the great ones: Marc Anthony turns 52 today (Sept. 16).

We join the fans toasting to one of Latin music’s most powerful voices. And he can act, too! Like the late Hector Lavoe, whom he brought to life in the biopic El Cantante, Anthony is a salsa giant. But the Nuyorican star has also transcended the genre and ventured successfully into English and Spanish-language pop.

To choose a favorite Marc Anthony anthem is almost impossible, but that’s why it’s fun.

“Valió La Pena”

Anthony is a master of the clave and when paired with friend/producer Sergio George, this is the type of magic they make.

“Vivir Mi Vida”

An anthem to living life to the fullest. What’s not to like?

“Ahora Quien”

One of Anthony’s epic break-up anthems. Can’t you just feel the hurt?

“I Need to Know”

Anthony sounds great in any language. His first crossover pop single in English showed the whole world what he was capable of.

“Tu Amor Me Hace Bien”

A salsa masterpiece showcasing the amazing instrument that is Anthony’s voice.
