MUNICH — Gresham Rights Management, the newest company from South Africa-based Gresham Music Group, has joined forces with SESAC, The Harry Fox Agency, SUISA Digital Licensing and Mint Digital Services to launch a new music rights service in Africa that will assist both African & international songwriters and publishers in direct licensing and collections for copyrights in one of the fastest growing music markets in the world.
The new venture will serve as the exclusive representative for both SESAC and HFA in sub-Saharan Africa in a joint licensing operation with SUISA, the Swiss collective management organization, with Mint assisting with data administration. GRM’s aim is to lower admin costs and provide faster distributions for creators, while giving African songwriters and publishers access to more listeners across the continent and the rest of the world.

The three-year-old Mint Digital Services is the alliance between SESAC and SUISA. The company manages invoicing and administration for the transnational music licensing businesses of SESAC, its subsidiary the Harry Fox Agency and SUISA with online providers, and also offers its services to publishers.
