Great News, Zayn Malik Is About to Make Things ‘Better’ With a New Song

Things are about to get much “Better.” That’s the name of the mellow R&B ballad Zayn teased on Wednesday morning (Sept. 23) with a short clip of the track and the promise of a video for the song, due this Friday (Sept. 25).

The singer didn’t offer much information beyond the title of the song in a tweet and a peek at the video, which included a shot of someone spying on a shirtless Malik in a far-away window and a vintage tape recorder.

Malik’s sophomore solo album Icarus Falls album dropped in Dec. 2018, but the singer has kept a pretty low profile since, appearing on a remix of Shaed’s “Trampoline,” “Rumors” with Sabrina Claudio, the R3hab song “Flames” and the reboot of “A Whole New World” with Zhavia Ward in 2019.

The singer is expecting his first child with girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who recently shared a cute picture of her kissing her “baby daddy.”
