Camilo continues his dominance on the Billboard charts with “Vida de Rico” as the song hits No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart (dated Jan. 30), surpassing its previous No. 4 peak. The track reigns in its 16th week, the longest hike to the top since the Black Eyed Peas’ 18-week trek with “Feel the Beat” in November 2020.
“Vida” moves ahead with 13.74 million in audience impressions, up 34%, earned in the week ending Jan. 24, according to MRC Data. The Colombian secures his third leader, after “Tattoo,” with Rauw Alejandro (September 2020, one week) and “Si Me Dices Que Sí,” with Reik and Farruko (June 2020, one week).
Camilo retains his No. 1 showing on Latin Pop Airplay where “Vida” rules for a second week. On the all-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, the track remains in the top 10 for a second week at No. 8, thanks to its airplay boost and stream increase: 1.7 million in U.S. streams, up 3%, earned in the week ending Jan. 21.
While the tune is moving up across Latin charts, its presence endures on the global charts: It lifts 82-81 on Billboard Global 200 (No. 29 peak, Oct. 2020) and dips 49-50 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S. after its No. 15 high (Oct. 2020). Camilo has a second top 10 on the current Latin Airplay chart: “Despeinada” with Ozuna returns to its previous No. 6 high (7-6) with a 6% boost in audience, to 8.6 million.
“Vida de Rico” is Camilo’s first single from his forthcoming sophomore album slated for release later in the year.
