Cam Signs With Nashville’s Triple Tigers Label In Partnership with RCA New York

Country singer Cam has signed with Nashville-based Triple Tigers, in partnership with Sony’s RCA New York.

Cam was originally signed to Sony in 2013 by then Sony Music Entertainment head Doug Morris. She went on to be handled by Sony’s Arista Nashville, which propelled her breakthrough 2015 single, the Grammy, CMA and ACM-nominated “Burning House,” to No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Following a number of follow-ups that failed to connect at country radio as strongly as “Burning House,” her Arista Nashville affiliation ended in 2018 and Cam moved to RCA’s New York roster.

Triple Tigers and RCA will put out her second album for Sony in the fall with an upcoming single, “Classic,” going to country radio on July 17. She has released two songs that will also appear on the album, “Till There’s Nothing Left” and “Redwood Tree.”

She becomes the fourth artist on Triple Tigers following Scotty McCreery, Russell Dickerson and Gone West. Triple Tigers is a Sony Music Entertainment imprint created out of partnership between Nashville-based marketing company Thirty Tigers, Triple 8 Management and veteran music business executive Norbert Nix.

“When I heard Cam’s new music, I was moved and inspired,” said Triple Tigers’ Nix in a statement. “She has an identifiable, world class voice and her songs are crafted with experience, emotion and strength. She is at the apex of her creative journey and it’s an honor to work with an artist of her caliber and to partner with our good friends at RCA Records New York to showcase her talents to the world.”

In recent years, Cam co-wrote “Palace” with Sam Smith for his 2017 album, The Thrill of It All, and toured with the British artist as well as teamed with Diplo for the single, “So Long.” (released under Diplo’s real name Thomas Wesley).
