BTS are ready to take the ARMY all around the world with their BREAK THE SILENCE: THE MOVIE showing at select theaters starting Thursday (Sept. 10).
The concert film, directed by Park Jun-soo, focuses on the stadium extension of the BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself, which took place across Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka, Shizuoka, Riyadh, Seoul and more cities from May 4 to Oct. 29, 2019. The international jaunt made them the first Korean group to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium, according to the film’s synopsis.
The nearly minute-long teaser shared on Thursday showcases the “Dynamite” singers Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, V and RM taking over different stages in their dazzling outfits, with “Magic Shop” from Love Yourself: Tear playing in the background.
The Love Yourself World Tour, which supported BTS’ Love Yourself: Her EP, Love Yourself: Tear studio album, and Love Yourself: Answer compilation album, ranked at No. 3 on Billboard’s 2019 Year End Top 40 Tours chart, with a worldwide gross of $196.4 million and 1.6 million tickets sold. Their tour also became “the highest year-end ranking in Billboard Boxscore history for an act that performs primarily in a non-English language.”
Tickets for BREAK THE SILENCE: THE MOVIE are already on sale, with limited screenings across the globe starting today (Sept. 10) and again in two weeks on Sept. 24. Fans can head to the movie’s official website to search for their local participating theaters.
