BTS Sends ARMY Into a Frenzy Over Mystery Reaction to Conan Gray & Lauv’s New Collab

It’s a Bangtan Boys mystery! Over the weekend, someone from BTS took to social media to react to the new collab by Conan Gray and Lauv, and ARMY has a few ideas about who it could be.

It all started on Saturday (Oct. 17) when one of the members used the boy band’s official Twitter account to express his appreciation for the “Fake Love” video. “Conan,” the mystery member tweeted alongside a pair of laughing emojis, which was quickly followed up by him writing, “and lauv” with a thumbs up. (Of course, BTS have a “Fake Love” of their own, so the mystery member could also be commending the duo on their excellent taste in song titles!)

Almost immediately, the fandom went into overdrive with speculation over which of the septet could be behind the tweets. And while both Gray and Lauv have yet to respond to the praise, the majority consensus seems to be that the culprit is none other than V, particularly considering he already has a history of teasing a collab with Gray on Twitter.

Back in May, the rising pop star retweeted a video of the BTS singer — real name Kim Tae-hyung — listening to his song “The Other Side,” and V responded by happily suggesting they record a song together. (“I would love to…i adore y’all !!” Gray responded at the time, and the two even made it official by following one another on the platform.)

Naturally, others started clamoring online for an official collab between the two pals, with one fan writing, “Taehyung I know it’s you…Now do a collab with @conangray or cover fake with jungkook so I can get back to my study peacefully, luv u.”

Check out the mystery tweets, as well as some of the best reactions from ARMY, below.
