ATEEZ Dance Through a Dream in Explosive ‘Inception’ Video: Watch

ATEEZ unleashed the music video for their latest single “Inception” on Wednesday (July 29), and it’s safe to say it’s a dream within a dream.

In the visual, the K-pop octet find themselves in a decrepit, abandoned prep school of sorts. As each boy bander’s head hits the pillow of their respective beds, they’re transported to a partially flooded classroom where they deliver round after round of fiery, impressive choreography.

“As if I have dreamed in a dream, I am lost looking for you/ You are the dream I live in, the dream I can never awake from/ Every day and night, I’m gon’ chase you/ I’m in love/ I’m dream in a dream every night/ I’m in love/ I’m dream in a dream every night,” the idols sing on the chorus over crashing drums and electronic beats, consumed with the object of their affection.

“Inception” serves as the first single off the boy band’s latest EP, Zero: Fever Part. 1, which also features second single “Thanxx.” The seven-track studio set was released by KQ Entertainment on the same day the video dropped, and marks the group’s third EP release of 2020 after Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer in January and Treasure EP.Map to Answer in February.
