Anuel AA’s ‘Fútbol & Rumba’ Featuring Enrique Iglesias Lands in Top 10 on Latin Rhythm Airplay Chart

Anuel AA’s “Fútbol & Rumba,” featuring Enrique Iglesias, arrives in the top 10 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart as the tune lifts 11-8 on the June 20-dated list.

It’s Iglesias’ first visit to the top tier in over two years. He last scored a top 10 when former No. 1 “El Baño,” featuring Bad Bunny, peaked at No. 5 in its second week.

“Fútbol & Rumba” vaults at No. 8, having drawn 6 million in audience impressions (up 30%) in the week ending June 14, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

As the song pushes up the chart, Anuel AA adds his 11th total Latin Rhythm Airplay top 10, dating to his first, “Ella Quiere Beber,” featuring Romeo Santos (Feb. 2019). Over the history of the chart which began in 2005, Anuel AA ties Aventura and Natti Natasha, all with 11 top 10s.

Iglesias, meanwhile, adds a 10th Latin Rhythm top 10 to his files which began when first chart entry “Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)” peaked at No. 9 in 2007.

“Fútbol” also sees progress on the overall Latin Airplay chart, soaring 20-11 on the current chart.

“Fútbol” is just the second song off Emmanuel to secure a spot on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. It trails the one-week ruler “Secreto,” with Karol G (No. 1, May 4, 2019-dated list.)
