6ix9ine Scores Third Top 10 on Hot Latin Songs With ‘YaYa’

6ix9ine claims his third top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart as “YaYa” bows at No. 4 on the July 18 survey.

The all-Spanish tune — and his first Hot Latin Songs hit without an accompanied act — follows the No. 1 hit “Bebe” (Sept. 2018) and “Mala” (No. 7 peak, Dec. 2018), both titles featuring Anuel AA.

“YaYa” arrives mainly on the strength of streaming activity. It registered 7.2 million U.S. clicks in the week ending July 9, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It yields a No. 1 debut on the Latin Streaming Songs chart, his second leader there.

“YaYa” also sold 4,000 downloads in the week ending July 9, which grants a No. 1 debut on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart.

“YaYa” concurrently makes its way to the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart bowing at a No. 99.

“La Jeepeta” Climbs to the Top 10 Thanks To Its Remix: Also, on Hot Latin Songs, “La Jeepeta” pushes 12-9 and enters the list’s top 10 in its 11th frame for Nio Garcia, Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Brray and Juanka.

The original song by Nio Garcia, Brray and Juanka was released January 2 but did not secure a spot on the chart. The remix of the song with Anuel AA and Myke Towers, was released May 7 and helped the song debut at No. 41 on the chart dated May 9.

“La Jeepeta” advances thanks to a 15% boost in streaming data (to 4.2 million U.S. clicks) logged in the week ending July 9. TikTok users helped fuel its streaming surge as the original version of the song with Garcia, Brray and Juanka took off on the app as part of a dance challenge — aiding the song’s popularity across streaming services. (TikTok’s activity does not contribute to the charts.) It immediately followed with the Anuel and Towers remix, both versions generating over 100,000 videos.

With its No. 9 peak, García secures his second top 10, Anuel ups his career count to 17, while Towers, Brray and Juanke claim their first.
